01 Summary:

Role Vision: To enable the sales team in driving operational excellence by supporting the day-to-day administrational and operational tasks of tracking pre- and post-sales data, managing client relationships, generating leads, and performing a variety of other support functions.

02 Roles and Responsibilities:

      Condenser Water Quality
    • Establish a proper methodology and system requirement for maintaining the condenser water quality as recommended by chiller and cooling tower OEMs
    • Create and deploy action plans to minimize fouling, scaling, corrosion or any chemical-related action which leads to poor performance of chillers/cooling towers etc.
    • Review various parameters like C.O.C, Blowdown rate, Make up requirement, Scaling indices
    • Identify, evaluate, short-list vendors for water sample testing
    • Identify, evaluate, short-list vendors for water treatment, automatic dosing system, cleaning of cooling tower fills etc.
    • Check appropriateness of the chemicals used in the condenser water system and its potential impact on all materials if it comes in contact with components including but not limited to the condense tube, valves, pipelines, the ATCS sponge balls
    • Track the performance of water treatment programs and the SLAs are being followed. Bring to notice of the management if SLAs are not being followed and work on resolving the issues.
    • Follow-up with the SEEs to get the water quality parameters and monitor the parameters
    • Suggest changes in the dosing chemical, quantity/frequency etc. with reference to the parameters obtained daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/semi-annually
    • Review various brands/OEMs of water treatment agencies and make a technical comparison and commercial comparison to present to top management
      Cooling tower fills
    • Recommend best methodology to descale/clean cooling tower fills
    • Identify, evaluate, short-list vendors for cleaning of cooling tower fills etc.
    • Recommend the best material for cooling tower fills and optimal timeline for fill replacement
    • Defining and refining structured sales processes for efficiency.
    • Communicate effectively with sales team and clients.
    • Generating leads and opportunities for sales leaders.
      Descaling and Descaling Chemicals
    • Establish a proper methodology and system requirement for regaining best possible condenser approach and/or evaporator approach
    • Review the condenser/evaporator/cooling tower approaches, rate of increase of approach in correlation with load, flow etc. and arrive at trackable KPIs for these parameters
    • Identify, evaluate, short-list vendors for descaling chemicals and descaling process
    • Check appropriateness of the chemicals used in descaling and its potential impact on all materials if it comes in contact with components including but not limited to the condense tube, valves, pipelines etc.
    • Track the performance of descaling process
      Coil washing chemicals
    • Establish a proper methodology and system requirement for existing cooling coil approach and regaining best possible approach
    • Review the cooling coil approaches, rate of increase of approach and arrive at trackable KPIs for those parameters
    • Identify, evaluate, short-list vendors for coil chemical washing and internal cleaning
    • Identify, evaluate, short-list vendors for coil cleaning etc.
    • Check appropriateness of the chemicals used in coil cleaning and its potential impact on all materials if it comes in contact with components including but not limited to the fins, tubes, AHU body, concrete etc. and impact on environment
    • Track the performance of chemical cleaning of cooling coils
      Refrigerant quality
    • Monitor refrigerant-related parameters from the chiller’s data available in DeJoule
    • Develop methodologies to check if the refrigerant is contaminated with oil, air etc.
    • Monitor the parameters associated with refrigerant regularly and update any indications on issues with refrigerant quantity or quality
      Softener and RO UF system operation and anti-scalant selection
    • Establish a proper methodology and system requirement for maintaining the system outlet water quality
    • Create and deploy action plans to minimize downtime, maintenance resource requirement etc.
    • Review various parameters like TDS, TSS, hardness, alkalinity, BOD, COD, MLSS, Chloride, Sulphide etc. as required
    • Identify, evaluate, short-list vendors for RO-UF operations, automatic dosing system, cleaning of fills, maintenance etc.
    • Check appropriateness of the chemicals used in the RO-UF system and its potential impact on all materials if it comes in contact
    • Track the performance of water treatment programs and the SLAs are being followed. Bring to notice of the management if SLAs are not being followed and work on resolving the issues.
    • Follow-up with the SEEs to get the water quality parameters and monitor the parameters
